A nod to classic American Country songwriting in the shape of a prison ballad about a repentant killer recalling the words his mother told him when he was young.

PJB says, "I tried to add a bit of a pop sensibility to this rootsy vibe we had going to bring it closer to how I imagine it might feel for a lifer to live with committing a crime of passion. He tells us what “she” was like before revealing he was not so different from the one who hurt him".
