A vaguely funky number about the kind of person some people avoid, others watch with cautious bemusement and a few want to spend the rest of their lives with.

It’s a song about an “Other” – one who does not fit – someone the majority fear or despise but the enlightened minority embrace. She might be a free spirit, “rebellious”, a loner who may or may not be lonely or just that certain someone who has carved their own path through life, come what may.
